Hymn to Spring

O bradford pear, o bradford pear

You throw your pollen in the air

You make me hack and snort and wheeze

And sneeze and sneeze and sneeze and sneeze

O bradford pear, o bradford pear

Spring is tough when you are there.

  3. AmyH says:

Whenever my nose catches sweet floral notes on the wind
my thoughts turn to "let the pain and suffering begin."

  4. Aubrey says:

O bradford pear, so very fair
I hack and snort though I must stare
Your bonny leaflets in the trees
Blow tiny pollens in the breeze
O bradford pear, if you're willing
Please be kind to Peg of Tilling!
