Solstice Lunar Eclipse

For the first time since 1378CE, there will be a lunar eclipse on the winter solstice.

Last night a friend called to tell me that in the past week her rent had been reduced, her Social Security check had increased, and she’d won a drawing for $100 worth of gift certificates. That’s not the only things-are-getting-better story I’ve heard lately, though it’s certainly the most dramatic–maybe we’re finally leaving a long wintery decade of discontent? If so, it’s about time!

    !yay! for your friend.

it’d be nice if the eclipse augurs the end of what has been a pretty lousy decade.

Tis…2010 was a tough one. How cool for your friend all those things happened! Though I must say 2007 probably sucked bong water for me. But hope is priceless.
