Please geek with me:

Sci-Fi IKEA Manuals.

Game of Thrones tree of houses and characters (only covers the HBO series, not the books).

Big Lebowski sweater pattern.

The World A Million Years Ago from the 1933 Chicago World’s Fair (Snapatorium, the Flickr user who posted this, finds amazing photos).

New Adventures of Tintin. Really really new.

Entirely too much information about the Dr. Who scarf. (Tom Baker was my first doctor, back when all the Who you could hope for was irregular episodes on public TV if there wasn’t a pledge drive, but Matt Smith owns me now. Fezzes are cool.)

A last thing: Edward’s debut as a knitwear model:

That's an ipod/iphone case that looks like a Pop Tart(tm).

    LOVE the ipod case!
And the Game of Thrones charts. I’m going to try to print them out! I’m enjoying the tv show and the books at the same time!

Peg, I need no invitation to geek. Rather, I require orders NOT to geek.

I was lucky to live where the PBS stations showed Doctor Who on a regular basis. Every weekend, and sometimes weekday afternoons. One ep at 5:30 M-F, then a whole 4 or 6 ep batch Sunday 10 AM. All the Baker/Pertwee/Davison you could want.

Mr. LT and I each have a Scarf.

The International Cat Hats are insane.

If I ever get an iThing, I may have to ask for a brown sugar cinnamon case.

I’m picturing the ends of your scarves tied together at the end of your wedding ceremony–“What the Time Lords have joined together, let no Dalek put asunder…”

      • Lurkertype says:

Ha! My mom knitted them for us a couple years after we got married. And threatened us with Dire Things if we ever asked that again.
