Please note the door is open.
I had to laugh out loud at this. The cat wants to come in. But, the cat wants someone to put some EFFORT into them coming in. Just coming in and out at will doesn’t have the same rewarding feel!
You clearly don’t love him anymore… you ruined the whole point of doors by leaving it open… how’s he supposed to get proper attenshons now??
oh well… we can ignore the fact that the door is actually open. Just mentally block it out!
We just brought our six cats home from the boarding kennel after boarding them for a week. (Yes, it was torture….for me…I worried all week about them and the dogs, even though Ken owns the kennel…)
Anyway, the night we got home all the cats wanted to do was go in and out and in and out the back door. They wouldn’t even leave the porch before wanting back in. I humored them and let each one in and out about six times. Maybe they had to reset some kind of radar after being gone for a week. Or just reassure themselves that the door still works.
Yes, making the hooman notice and work is the whole point.
Edward seems to think that doors should open on both sides, on the hinge side as well as the regular side–he may expect the hinge side to take him somewhere different, which would make him a philosopher.
Mebbe is part vampire? You must *invite* him in?
He’s got the pointy fangs.
Not so much teh sparklees, tho!
He is properly old-school.
