Curious George cake

I was worried about doing a recognizable character but it came out better than I was afraid it would–thanks PBS for the big face graphic!

    Did you use piping gel to transfer the design, or are you a good enough artist to freehand it?

      I traced the outlines onto parchement paper to make stencils, then used the stencils to put the outline on the crumb coat with a tooth pick. I filled in the yellow part then the brown parts with a piping bag then smoothed out the piping marks. Placing the facial features was the hardest part!
