Why wouldn’t a hawk want to be on campus? He’s the apex predator with the endless supply of hand-fed squirrels! He’s called Law Hawk because the law school people named him.

He’s pretty! The other day, I saw a red-tail hawk cruising around in the airspace between my building and the ones a half block away, right at my apartment level, so i got a good eyeful of him. A good-sized clump of pigeons were taking care to flock off out of his way.

He is beautiful! Mmmm. Handfed squirrels! Law Hawk may become a bit pudgy on those!
I wonder if he is an immature redtail. That’s my guess, but I really don’t know.
