When I moved into my house I barely noticed a big green bush at the edge of the yard. Late in the summer it exploded in purple flowers:

Hibiscus remind me of the south. Yours is beautiful. Morgat posted flowers yesterday on her Vox, including some wild roses.
Thank you! We had late freeze this year, so I wasn't sure the bush would bloom at all. I saw Morgat's wild roses–did you see her fabulous owls too?
Gorgeous flowers, Peg! Not surprisingly, I especially love the Rose of Sharon. Just beautiful.
